Hi, I'm Patrick Slade

My goal is to improve mobility and health by combining advanced robotic devices, human-centered artificial intelligence, and accurate biomechanics modeling. I use these tools to develop personalized, wearable devices to monitor, diagnose, and assist people facing mobility challenges.

I will be starting as an Assistant Professor of Bioengineering at Harvard University in July 2023. I am recruiting graduate students and postdocs, please reach out if you are interested!

I received my PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Sept. 2021) in the Intelligent Systems, Neuromuscular Biomechanics, and Biomechatronics labs. I am currently a Bioengineering postdoc at Stanford working in the same labs.
